• At your first visit our main goal is to assess the underlying cause of your problem and to find a solution that works specifically for what your body needs. The testing also allows us to determine if Chiropractic or massage (or something else) may be most appropriate.

    In order to do this we incorporate many levels of testing. They inculde;

    • Deep and thourough history taking about your current and past problems

    • Spinal range of motion testing

    • Muscle tension testing and mobility testing

    • Postural Analysis

    • Upper and lower neurological testing (to assess the health of your nerve system)

    • X-rays (if needed)

  • If it is determined that Chiropractic care is the most appropriate treatment for your condition, the chiropractor will do a Report of Findings to outline the results of the testing.

    This includes;

    • An indepth discussion about your current condition and the underlying cause of the issue(s)

    • Observation and explanation of the X-ray findings

    • A written report with your specific findings and recommendations of care

    A step by step guide of what it will take to get you back to your best and to keep you that way

    Once you have heard all the relevenat information and you choose to start care, your first spinal adjustment will be performed after the report of findings.

  • Most conditions that take time to build, will often take time for the healing process to take place. The number and frequency of sessions is determined by the testing done at the first visit and outlined in the Report of Findings. (as outlined above)

    In order to maximise the results of your care, the chiropractor will offer advice throughout the process to get the most from your sessions. These may include;

    • A lifestyle questionaire to determine daily habits that may be impacting your healing progression

    • Habits of daily living i.e stress reduction techniques, hydration, sitting posture, ergonomic desk set up etc

    • Specific stretching and mobility exercises based on what your body needs are.

    • Specific strengthening and stabiliy exercises
